I've always loved to draw, and I loved to experiment(not really) haha, but i always figured Painting was so far from drawing that i wouldn't be able to do it. Well as soon as i tried it, i loved it just as much as drawing. Here are a few examples of my Paintings, Drawings, and some Mixed media, as well as ink on skin.

None other than SNOOP DOGG
Heres and Ebony Pencil Drawing i did, the reference i used was an airbrushed portrait of Snoop Dogg. -LBC! WEST SIDE |

Tattoo Gun
Heres another color pencil drawing i did as a tattoo idea for one of my friends. Its like a futuristic abstract sick lookin tattoo gun. i'm very drawn to colorful detail. I used a few different tattoo magazines as reference. |
Che Guevara
This is something i started experimenting with, drawing tattoos on the skin with sharpies and all kinds of micron markers. The victim? Jeff, a good buddy of mine who is covered in tattoos. He wanted me to do a portrait of Che Guevara, the gorilla terrorist who helped Castro come to power, because he liked Che's style and choice of guns, THE AK-47, which is drawn above his portrait, and above the gun is S.L.A.M standing for souther labor movement (don't ask) and below his portrait, the words "to the death" I found this a very fun way of having a fake tattoo for the day to show off to all your friends. and they only last a couple days.

One of my Favorite paintings, Spawn's "The VIOLATOR!"
heres a picture of me and one of my favorite paintings i did while i was still in regular high school in my paitning class. The Assignment was Comic Art, and whats a better comic than SPAWN?! duhhh haha, so of course i had the pleasure of painting the violator as he introduced himself in issue two of the comic book SPAWN. |
Punk Rock Koi
Heres another ink on skin type drawing, its what i call the punk rock koi, equipped with a fat nose ring. A lot of Oriental work comes down from the shoulders onto the chest. and the meaning of the koi is that if the koi fish can swim up river to spawn, then it will become a dragon, thats why its common to see koi fish incorporated with dragons. its a symbol of strenth in the oriental culture.

A very special painting
And last but not least, a painting of a sea turtle I did for my ex-girlfriend, Ashley. I kind of went a little free style on this one, let it flow I guess. I wish I could of spent some more hours on it but i'm a busy man. I also did a little experimenting on this one, I watered down some acrylics to give a glazed appearance over some of the shell, to help blend colors a little better. |
