The Pictures go in order from my first tattoo to my current tattoo. The top one was decided to be my first because of someone special in my life who influenced me extremely. Jamie Bowman a good friend of mine passed away after a motorcycle accidental. I felt as if a tattoo would help heal my pain. The reason why it is on my right thigh is because Jamie had a tattoo of a cow exactly in that spot(long story) so Shawn(his brother) and myself both got tattoos (not identical) in the same spot Jamie had his just as a reminder of him. The start of my second tattoo, My KOI FISH,was a great way for me to experiment with bold colors in bold places! The Koi is a symbol of strength and inner pride. And also is a reminded to myself of all of the hardships I've delt with in my life. Tattoos release my expressionism. It was a long and grueling process being right on my calf muscle and all. The outline was done in a little over three hours, then the color session was done in a little more than three and a half hours. After that my artist, CANMAN(ink addiction studio II), had me come in for a free touch-up which was an extra hour and a half.
Now the most recent, the front of my leg is a continuation of the back of my leg. It will soon merge together to become one whole wrap-around piece. The front so far is the Demon riding a Dragon Fly (which in some cultures is a symbol of protection against death). Soon the color will be added and more elements added to the background before completion. Cherry blossoms, oriental swirls, ect... My finished piece from knee down will be considered an "Oriental Style" or art and tattoo.
I'd like to give thanx to my artist CANMAN @ Ink Addiction Studio 2 located in Jupiter,FL. Check out their Website at inkaddiction.com
